This is a bunch of things, so I'm going to convert it to a discussion. |

This is because the 2nd "widget", with the Red Moon icon is not really a widget, it's a shortcut. See #132 (comment). Ideally, we could totally hide the shortcut "widget". However, I don't know if this is possible.
I'm not sure how much your other widget UI ideas change with #201 |

That widget should also toggle Red Moon. If it's not working, that's a bug. |

I'd like to make tapping the notification open this view, similar to Night Screen, which is already tracked in #294 as you mentioned :). We could also add another widget which opens it, but I think there should still be a widget for toggling (since the shortcut "widget" is not really intended to be used). |

New.Moon.widget.test.mp4
(everything tested on the video mentioned below chronologically)
3. Currently there are two widgets but both do the same job (2nd widget is for toggle on/off & 1st widget show its status only)
few suggestions
I) 1st widget looks a bit ugly now & I don't think a widget only for status purpose is worth
Make 1st widget a circular transparent wolf logo just like Loop Habit tracker app widget (check video) rename it to "Toggle Red Moon". & it should do the job of current 2nd widget that is toggle on/off the Red Moon
II) & we should rename the 2nd widget to "Red Moon" only & clicking it should open up notification slider & should do the job of controlling Darkness, Colour & Opacity from system notification slider just like Night Screen app as mentioned in #294
