Alternative implementation of the Bitwarden server API written in Rust and compatible with upstream Bitwarden clients *, perfect for self-hosted deployment where running the official resource-heavy service might not be ideal.

Suggesting this because this is to be honest BEST and this is what i selfhost in my system and use myself and many others like me use this and it is compatible with official bitwarden extension/addon so no issues in that regard. It is open source and much more easier to selfhost and manage with any local proxy manager like nginx proxy manager or traefik as we can easily generate self signed certificate with our domain and use without any issues. There are some tutorials of selfhosting this created by youtubers - DB tech , Awesome Open Source etc so this is what you MUST RECOMMEND AT THE TOP OF THAT PAGE .
(I did experienced alot other similar selfhosted ones but this one is best and easiest and i never faced and issues and its key shortcuts are also something i love with which i can autofill insta if i want :-)) )
