When I enable the tray icon in the tuxclocker settings, it shows up only while the program is running. After you close tuxclocker (using 'X' button in window), the tuxclockerd keeps running in the background and everything works as expected, but the system tray icon is not useful if you can only interact with it while the tuxclocker frontend is actually open.

I tried running the tuxclocker-qt program in a terminal, there is no output when the tray icon is erroneously removed upon closing the program.

Expected behavior is that when I close the tuxclocker-qt app, the tray icon stays so that I can open tuxclocker-qt again via the tray icon later.

Further, a related problem: I found that the tuxclockerd is not killed when I "quit" from the tray. It continues running (confirmed with ps). It may be that these are related somehow.
