I am developing a Mod need a mod just like this, but the model register almost drives me mad.
So weather the mod will have 1.16.5 ?
If not, I have to find another way.

Sorry, it won't be updated.
The model registry drives me mad too, and changes every version. I had to rewrite most of library several times and I got tired.
I abandoned modded minecraft and I don't have plans to go back.

You will have to find another way.
