Update site for 2024

Phase 1: Announcement (early in year before CFM / Sponsors, etc.)

• Event Year & Dates in _config.yml
  

• Sponsors- Set the sponsor-year variable to the prior event year (in config.yml)
  

• Remove Featured Makers from homepage (index.md) using comment tags
  

• Remove Meet the Makers & Explore the Exhibits badges from homepage (index.md) using comment tags
  

• Remove any other year-specific promotion from homepage (index.md) using comment tags
  

• Comment out info on Badge page until closer to the event (comment all content, add note at top)
  

• Makers Page - uncomment the copy about CFM opening later in the year

• Exhibit at Page - uses variables, but needs content changed as event progresses

• Event Schedule page - check back later verbiage

• Program Page

• Power Racing - verify only, as this uses {{site.event_name}} {{site.event_year}}

• Volunteer Page - verify year, registration later this year...

• Tickets page - attend.md

• Homeschool page - verify only, as this uses {{site.event_name}} {{site.event_year}}

• Update update_exhibits including form names and event year

Content Update

• Pics - Slider

Graphics Updates

• Sponsor packet - PDF update from the graphic designer
• Promote page - requires round logo from graphic designer, add postcards as they are available.
• Website Banner

Tickets OnSale

• Change CTA to Get Tickets Button (cta.yaml)
  

Sponsors - Once we have some commitments and are ready to show current year

• Sponsors- Set the sponsor-year variable to the current event year, update all sponsors in data/sponsors.yaml

Call for Makers Open

• Makers Page - comment the copy about CFM opening later in the year

PostEvent

• Change CTA back to Subscribe (cta.yaml)
