Note: public release 3.0 RC1 was removed as containing a major bug. If you still are using it, please stop. NVRAM restore and Keep current patch options were broken.
Changes over MechaPwn 2.0:
- PSX DESR support added
- PS1 NTSC4.43 possible video fix
- CEX option and region selection was removed for FAT and PSX
- added USB HDD shutdown support
- Model Name will not be affected
- ability to uninstall Force Unlock even if you lose your NVRAM backup. Just select in the Patch menu->Restore Factory Default
- NVRAM backup now is safer: never overwritten, created only once, and unique per console. NVRAM backup will be created even for unsupported consoles (so MechaPwn can be used for NVRAM dumping on pre-Deckard consoles)
- all kelfs unlocked (no more incompatibilities with DVD player or older FMCB)
- MechaPwn now is smarter, will provide more info about your console, and will block itself if your console setup is somehow incompatible or untested.
- You will see console serial, Model ID, Real Mode Name, and console color. If some data is not collected by the MechaPwn team, you can report your console data by providing an NVRAM dump and console sticker photo.
- Now you are not limited to the USA region and can choose any region for all region disks to work (Deckard-only)
- Deckard-only: force NTSC mode if the DEX option selected
- slims-only: safe OSD language change
- code stability and some minor bugs fixed
