Is it possible to reconfigure the MiV ESS Watchdog once it has been activated?

Hello,

Is there a way to disable the “Watchdog lock” if we wish to reprogram the watchdog after it’s been activated? Our software is comprised of a boot software and an application software. The watchdog will be configured with a WDOGTIME of 10 seconds in the boot software before transferring execution control to the application software. Once the application software has completed its initialization phase, we would like to change WDOGTIME to 50 ms just before the application software starts its main execution loop.

Sequence:

• Initialize the Boot software
• Initialize watchdog with a WDOGTIME of 10 seconds
• Activate watchdog
• Transfer execution control to the application software
• Initialize the application software
• Reconfigure the watchdog to 50ms
• Execute the application software main execution loop.
