Hi,

I tried with mame set and neokobe set, the issues are presents on both on the core. It works correctly on XM8.

During the process to create the userdisk on the core, all steps are good but when we boot with opening disk and newly user disk with have black screen. (tested also with the floppy provided on #29).
If I created the userdisk on XM8 I could launch the game.

Also if I save with userdisk(XM8) on the core and I load after that, I have a black screen. Also if I tried to boot with this userdisk I have black screen.

It seems the core breaks the userdisk if it is write on it.

Thanks,

Thank you for reporting this fix !
Make user disk and save are working now on YS3.

Do you think it is worth to report on X68000 core also ?

I don't know if this fix is important for X68k.
X68k has DOS, so the situation is different.

Generally, DOS applications mainly accessed the FDD through the BIOS and system calls.
According to Puu-san's article, X68k BIOS does not access with MT=1.
Therefore, Puu-san may not have considered this fix important.

Thank you for those informations.
So it is better to wait if one person raised an issue on X68000 that implied the use of MT=1.

I will close this ticket.
I played until the second boss it is great to save 💯
