I have a package (outside Nixpkgs) that I want to use the pipe-operator feature in but there's no way to pass in the necessary --extra-experimental-features CLI flag into nix-update, it'd be great to have that available. The necessary bits are already in place so it should hopefully be a quick job of adding a CLI flag, I can send in a PR if the proposal is accepted.
