Convert to Python or Go?

I want to convert this at some point to be more portable but not sure which I'd rather have it ported to Python or Go. Which would you prefer?

If you're still interested in doing this, then I would vote for Go.

this is a project I am still interested in working on but it has been a long time since I touched it and I started working on a lot of stuff since then. I originally created the project before I made this GH repo so it's been a lot longer than it appears. I have been doing podcasts and such for Linux these days and those take a ton of my time. I know a bit of python so I could probably convert it to that more easily but Go would require me to learn from scratch so I am probably leaning to Python if I were to rewrite it.

Or I might clean up the bash code and ask for people to join in the work to convert it. I dont know yet.
