[Bug] Shader Pack Issue with [MakeUpUltraFast] #90
Comments
Uhh, I have no issue with disabling the tint altogether in dev env by setting it to 0.0 strength so what version are you using exactly? Is it the 1.19.2 version? A screenshot of the issue combined with the Shader Mod and Shader pack would be great for testing |
https://modrinth.com/shader/makeup-ultra-fast-shaders for the shaders |
I'll do some testing later but it could just be an issue for my modpack, I can say when the shader is disabled and tint is set to 0.0 theres no dark background at all, but when the shader is enabled the background remains dark no matter the tint level. |
Hmm seems similar to another issue with the Shader javiergcim/MakeUpUltraFast#62 but I tested with Complementary Reimagined without issue so maybe the specific Shader Pack. It seems to happen on Screenshot Capture actually leading to a completely blacked-out image... meaning such has nothing to do with tint but something to do with the Screenshot capture being nothing. I frankly don't have a clue what is going on and don't think this is something that will be easily fixed to say the least |
Turning on the Simpler Exposure Option just fixes the issue... for some reason. |
For some reason it doesn't fix the issue for me, how strange.. May be a weird cause.. |
... Odd, I will need to take some time and maybe talk with IMS about what might be causing this within Iris |
Disregard my last comment I thought this was another issue, that actually fixes it, super sorry about that I've been a little sleep deprived.. Got it confused with MakeUpUltraFast/issues/61 (invisible dim doors) |
I think this is an issue with the exposure part of the shaders and not an issue with this mod, so you can close this if you want, or poke them about how it works |
Ill keep such open but doubtful a fix will be needed on our end at the moment |
For some reason some shader packs interact with the tint strangely resulting in a very dim background while loading, could there be a toggle to disable tint completely? (Setting strength to 0.0 does not work, maybe it's not the tint at all?)
