Pinboard feed time problems #33

I am having problems with Pinboard.in items. I have moved from Delicious, because their current interface is so awful, but Pinboard has its own problems.

LifePress seems to interpret the time of items oddly, meaning that only 1 entry will import from each feed update (sometimes there are mutliple items to import). I have seen this issue elsewhere in an old Sweetcron forum post (http://markmail.org/message/bhmfucqxr4hsazqb), but it was never resolved.

Any ideas how to solve this one?

I believe this has to do with issue #11; how LifePress imports items based on date/timestamp. Those items which were skipped - how close of a timestamp did they have to the item before and after it (see <dc:date> in feed)? I added this person's pinboard feed and it was able to import all the items fine: http://feeds.pinboard.in/rss/u:davidporter .

Thanks...

The feed items were all within the same minute, but second were distinct, so something like:

16:48:13
16:48:18
16:48:24

The problem I have might be different, but I can't imagine what else it might be

I have a problem with pinboard fgeed, in that the tags do not get imported correctly. All the tags come in as one single long tag, with spaces. So I have been shunting my pinboard feed to delicious, via ifttt.com, and then importing that. Perhaps this causes the problem.

Another solution, therefore, would be to parse the pinboard feeds differently. Does someone have a way to do this? A plugin for pinboard that splits up the tags correctly?

I'm afraid I've tried to do this in the past and failed (my coding knowledge is slight). Pinboard uses RSS 1.0, which might be the issue. Cheers
