Okay, I do see that it is intended that in soft crit, the fighting is intended, at least in a previous issue. |
Im still quite unsure about the "stripping while dead" thing but to do it I spamclicked the clothing and it either automatically put itself either in my storage or onto the floor |
Another issue I've seen with this is that people in crit seem to have a deathgrip on their weapon. They dont drop them when shovestunned, aggressive grabbed, or even while dead. Even weirder, you can still do some interactions with things in your hand after you die, like dropping them. |

SEPARATELY but a part of the discussion: Slashers are far more durable with the crit changes as they seem to be able to remain in fighting shape, even in crit, because of the changes. This has made dispatching Slashers far more difficult and deadlier than before unless one has a bladed weapon to dismember the head.
The common feeling in discussion with players is that the new and improved crit system, while an overall good, needs some restrictions placed upon it so it for reasons of overall balance. The feeling is that fighting with the debuffs in softcrit feels perfectly fine and acceptable, however that there should be a limit on interactions while in hardcrit, such as pulling out your last resort epipen or even a grenade.
These changes have also allowed for, in some circumstance that I have been unable to directly reproduce at this time, the ability to continue fighting or even strip yourself while you are in a dead status. When I am able to locate a reliable method of reproducing this particular effect, I shall add a post below to further detail that particular issue that seems to be directly related to the new and improved crit system.
