Reproduction:

When using a button to toggle the component it will still send signals through, when testing this with a interaction component and a pressure plate to send the activation signal through the activation input, the signal will not send even when toggled on, attempted to set this up multiple times now and have tried almost everything I can think of to get it to work. Unfortunately the toggle component displays no change in behaviour, I have yet to ask some others who are familiar with MechComp if they have experienced the same issues as I have. I would suggest further looking.
