I am having an issue where tokenizer is making tokens smaller than usual in the picture I have a token I made using tokenizer about a month ago and then the one on the right is a token I made today with tokenizer and I can't seem to get it to be full size.

  • what system are you using?

  • what version of foundry are you using?

  • what version of tokenizer are you using?

  • does it happen if you create a token without using tokenizer? (Shift click to bypass tokenizer)

  • have you tried resetting tokenizer settings?

I have a similar issue that might be related. Creating a token with Tokenizer is not a problem and the size is perfect, however, once I try to use said token image (taken from the data/tokenizer/pc-images folder) on a different actor or try to import the same actor into a different world the token has shrunk. (It also happens on the same actor if I replace it with itself.)

  • I'm using Pathfinder 2e
  • I'm on version 12 stable - build 331.
  • I'm using the newest version of Tokenizer (just installed it)
  • It only happens with Tokenizer tokens, no others.
  • Yes and it didn't change anything.

This is probably the tokenizer defaults offsetting the image if you are applying it through tokenizer. Press shift to bypass tokenizer and select the image directly in the default token selection dialogue.

I suspected that as well, which is why I created a new world where I didn't change any of the settings, enabled no modules, created a new actor, and chose a tokenizer token I had previously made in another world without enabling the module itself. The result was the same. The created tokens are all too small once I select them. They look fine on the actor they are made on, but once I try to transfer them, they are too small.

Today I updated Pathfinder 2e from version 6.8.0 to 6.8.4 and the tokens I create now work perfectly fine, while the old ones are still too small. That's no matter though, I'll just recreate them. In any case, thank you very much for this amazing module and for replying!

I'm sorry to bother you again. I realized my mistake: when I use Tokenizer to copy the already created assets to another actor, they are the right size, however, if I don't use Tokenizer (disable the module or use shift) then the with Tokenizer created tokens are too small. Now this usually would not be an issue, since I could just use Tokenizer to always place tokens, however, I Tokenizer is not compatible with modules like PF2e Flip Token (and maybe also Token Variant Art, but I'd have to test that more thoroughly) that I use to simulate shapeshifting via swapping out the token picture on the same actor. Therefore, I use Tokenizer to create tokens, but place them without using it and this results in the tokens being too small.
