And the WP SMTP Mail - I would like to pitch this plugin for the relaunch:

It is from the wordplate people. The SMTP-Settings are put in the .env-File (a somewhat more powerful wp-config). This is more save than put such data in the DB, I imagine it will most likely be faster and more slick. Also no ads, I guess.

Also not sure if "WP-Optimize - Clean, Compress, Cache" really does good work in constant usage.
It was nice to know which DB tables can be removed.

"Simple Tags" -> in the excel it sounds like this was a good plugin but got bad.
How to make it good again?

Its to be discussed. 😄

We should stick with it at least for the relaunch, as BackWPup can create a backup without all the thumbnails. And on the "new site" we regenerate the thumbnails with all new sizes than. So we can get rid of all old thumbnail sizes.

Longterm we have two questions here to answer:

• Is one backup per day enough?
• Do we trust the backup mechanism of Spinup WP? (I tested BackWPups results and the restore several times and that works great. I not tested the Backups and Restores for Spinup WP till now.)

Have to have a look in it. It is great for tagging a post as it shows you tags that fit to your content, are already in use on the page and so on. Was very helpfull in the past to make sensfull use of the tags.
