The .NET Foundation requires all contributors (individuals and companies) to sign a Contribution License Agreement (CLA). If you already have a signed CLA with Microsoft Open Technologies or the .NET Foundation you don't need to create a new one. Signing the CLA is a straight forward process:
- Fill out the form at the .NET Foundation CLA site
- Open the link sent to you from DocuSign
- Sign and date the document
- If you are not self-employed, your employer must also sign the CLA as well
- Important: You cannot sign on behalf of your employer. If you have signed for the employer, you must submit a new CLA
- Once all required parties have signed, the CLA will be added to the CLA Library where the repository owners can verify you have a CLA.
- Fork the repository, generate Pull requests, comment on other pull requests and contribute to the Project!
###NOTE:
- Pull requests from User accounts that do not have an associated CLA will be ignored.
- Contributors MUST NOT include any code from a third party. Your pull requests should only contain your original code or original code changes to existing sources in the repository. If you are interested in adding new code source that has a dependency on some other open source project, please post an issue to start the conversation with the core team before proceeding to ensure the license terms of the dependent code is compatible.
