This is beautifully considered. Thank you Dan.
Here, I would like to address the full Manifesto/Charter (doc. name pending) by also drawing on the Values/High-Level Concept section from the Business Plan, and Rich's Genesis document from the #Genesis-block-start-here Discord channel (attached). As a Charter is a document that defines our values, rights and privileges, it might pay to split the manifesto into the following sections:
Introduction - Who We Are/Background (from the Genesis doc),
Values: collated from the aforementioned docs and grouped under common themes,
Community Guidelines: Code of Conduct/Rights/Privileges/Expectations drawn from the Values section that members are expected to adhere to and afford others,
Rules of Engagement: pertaining to how holons work and how members can expect to engage within them.
Draft NFT-DAO Charter
This is an NFT-DAO community call-out and our first general GitHub Issue (from our Organisation's public Governance-HOLON repository).
Governance-HOLON would like to solicit contributions to our Draft Charter
Issue : Draft NFT-DAO Charter.
The NFT-DAO Governance-HOLON public repository is now LIVE and ready for Open-Source contributions.
We will accommodate members without a GitHub account by taking input from Discord in the #governance-think-tank channel.
Comments will be captured and migrated to GitHub.
The Milestone for Sign-Off of our first Manifesto is Thursday, 15th April 2021 (https://github.com/NFT-DAO/Governance-HOLON/milestone/3).
But as per Open-Source standards the Charter will always be subject to requests for change (Pull Requests).
We look forward to your contributions.
