GitBook Open-Source Concession for Team Use

I have followed up with Petros of GitBook and he has accepted that NFT-DAO has met at least one open source criteria for the team use concession.

(I referred Petros to NFT-DAO's "Open Source (FOSS) standard" issue

  • - Get Open Source GitBook Concession
  • - Integrate NFT-DAO GitBook with NFT-DAO repository.
  • - Migrate Documentation GitBook from stephen-rowan to NFT-DAO

About a week ago our GitHub Organization https://github.com/NFT-DAO submitted a requested for Open Source pricing. I am one of the members of NFT-DAO - can you confirm pricing before I integrate GitBooks here to GitHub ? Thanks Stephen

Thanks! someone from the team will be in touch shortly! 🙌

Hi Stephen,
I am not able to find a related open source request.
In any case, if your GitHub repository (we need at least one) matches most of the criteria below, you can have our Community > plan which is the Business plan for free (minus the SAML feature):

Is not just an empty repository with nothing to show
Has a README.md file that clearly explains what the software is about
Has a CONTRIBUTING.md file that explains how to contribute
Has a LICENSE file with a valid OSS license
Has a CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md
It's easy for others to contribute

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Cheers,
Petros

Thanks, Petros for your helpful response to NFT-DAO's request for an open-source concession and apologies for the delay in responding. I can confirm that at least one of the criteria you listed has been fulfilled (see #7 ). I look forward to your confirmation. All the Best - Stephen
