Currently widget fetches pages of run UUIDs, though it fetches all pages before UI updates.
We should batch or selectively fetch fewer pages at a time before updating the display.
E.g. https://tiled.nsls2.bnl.gov/api/v1/metadata/smi/raw has hundreds(!) if not thousands of scans.
