The AT5001 is a cloud based, open source wardialer using Ruby.
The workflow of the program is simple. The user inputs a phone number into the rails website with appropriate wild cards for blocks of numbers. The rails process then queues up a call job using resque. A worker then picks up the job and places a call into Tropo's RESTful API (by default, the call job could be easily changed to establish an AMI connection to asterisk and place a call directly). Tropo then places the call and running tropo-agitate, establishes an AGI connection back to the adhearsion server. Adhearsion then controls the call (usually by ordering the recording of the call at the beginning). Afterwards Tropo sends the recording back to the rails server in a POST request, who then queues up a audio processing job. The audio processor then looks for signatures in the audio, plots out graphs for the rails process to display, then stores all this information in the long term database.
Setup Process:
1. You'll need a Tropo account first, you can create one at tropo.com
2. Create a new application within tropo, pointing it at a copy of tropo-agitate (https://github.com/tropo/tropo-agitate)
3. Copy the Outbound Voice token and paste it into the config/at5001_config.yml file
4. Follow the startup process to startup the at5001 system each time
Startup Process:
1. Startup the adhearsion process ("bundle exec ahn -")
2. Startup the resque workers ("bundle exec rake resque:work QUEUE=call,failure,audio")
3. Startup the rails process from the gui root ("cd gui; rails s")
Common errors in setup:
When install KissFFT if you run into a 'malloc.h not found' error on OSX, the following command should fix it:
"sudo ln -s /usr/include/malloc/malloc.h /usr/include/malloc.h"
