It would be great to have an option to output simulated illumina reads. Have options for single-end or paired-end, plus different read lengths.
Overlapping reads (duplicated bases) is fine, but trim off when we get to adapter. So basically simulating trimmed reads.
This output will allow piping the data into regular existing analysis pipelines for QC.
