Different structures for IC files?

First off, thank you very much @NeilBarton-NOAA for turning this option on. :)

I've run into a situation where it seems like there are two different formats for the initial conditions depending on what options are set. One set of ICs follows a format like this:

(gwsfs_sing) Singularity> ls $WORK/ufs_input/ICs/REPLAY_ICs/C192mx025/2000040100/mem000/atmos/
gfs_ctrl.nc        gfs_data.tile2.nc  gfs_data.tile4.nc  gfs_data.tile6.nc  sfc_data.tile2.nc  sfc_data.tile4.nc  sfc_data.tile6.nc
gfs_data.tile1.nc  gfs_data.tile3.nc  gfs_data.tile5.nc  sfc_data.tile1.nc  sfc_data.tile3.nc  sfc_data.tile5.nc

But sometimes the output from the setup experiment stages produces:

Presumably this is being controlled by one of the settings for setup experiment, but I'm not sure which. @NeilBarton-NOAA @pjpegion?

Answered my own question - cold vs warm start. :)
