It uploads at a mere 65-70mbps, being MUCH slower than regular telegram which got an upload boost about a month back where you can upload at a speed of 300-400mbps. But I see this project has not been updated since almost a year ago. Probably abandoned.
Also not being able to upload images bigger than 10MB is a pretty significant drawback. Since a LOT of images are. And after all, on regular telegram you can upload 2-4GB files. It especially doesn't make sense when you compress them, since they become smaller. Also the caption should be OFF by default. It looks really stupid when it says the filename under everything you upload as a caption.
--force-file does not work when you upload an album, neither does the --caption it seems.
It uploads the files above 10MB, if I don't make them an album and have them send individually and not compressed, but it fails to create a thumbnail for it, this is not a problem on regular telegram.
If you use --large-files split, then it only sends the first 10 images in that directory, which I bet is not intended.
So many issues with this program. Did you even try it before releasing it on Github? lol.
What I Did
telegram-upload --force-file --caption "" -a --directories recursive "C:\RandomFolder"
