Is openssh-wrapper still an active project? #17
Comments
@pimiento, @imankulov: Highlighting you on issue openssh-wrapper#17. Please look at my commits on https://github.com/ArcticaProject/openssh-wrapper/commits/master. If I don' hear back from anyone here in December, I will probably consider creating a fork of this project. Personally, I'd rather fancy doing co-maintenance. Thanks for feedback. |
@pimiento, @imankulov: ping, folks! Please get in touch. Thanks you! |
We both actually do not work for that company. Because that, I think no one
supports this project anymore, and it is the best way if you cloned it.

@pimiento: thanks for your feedback. I guess, I will do it in a soft manner first (keep the name, work on the code). If I don't here back from NetAngels until end of Octobre, I'll consider renaming or keeping the name and requesting PyPi people to update openssh-wrapper with my version then. |
I'd be interested in a fork as it doesn't look like this supports scp remote file to local. Could even contribute. |

Sounds like a good plan. I haven't heard back from anyone at NetAngels, yet. When I am back from VAC ( end of Oct ), I'd say let's get the fork rolling...
Mike
PS: last ping @NetAngels before the official fork happens in two weeks' time...

Feel free to send PRs, if you think stuff should be improved.
Unfortunately, I did not get around to doing more work on the code.
But I will get to that finally some time...

please open github issues for your fork |
hey @sunweaver, is there any plan/possibility to have the fork go up on PyPI to replace the existing openssh-wrapper? I would have asked this on the https://github.com/ArcticaProject/openssh-wrapper repo but issues are not available over there (as mentioned by @QGB). |
Hi!
I just noticed, that recent activity on this project is really old. As I really have a use case for this openssh-wrapper, I wonder, if maintainers are still active on this (and have just been a little lazy).
If this project is currently discontinued, I'd be interested in taking over maintenance.
Please get in touch and let me know. (Before I fork you under a different name ;-) ).
Mike
