#346552 broke the oven-media-engine build. the nix package includes a patch that does not work on 7.1.

This is probably also broken on 24.11.

Hey @emilazy, you introduced the patch and also broke it. What's your plan to get this unstuck? Should the patch be reverted and then ffmpeg 5 be used? Or the arch route of 4.4?

I believe the patch set should still work with FFmpeg 6, which is far preferable than pinning FFmpeg 4 which we have almost gotten rid of in the tree. Unfortunately the upstream PR has somewhat stalled: AirenSoft/OvenMediaEngine#1626. Ideally it’d get patched for 7.1 too but I don’t really have the time or interest to do that myself at present.
