Hajj Leave
At first go through core features of Leave Type and Leave Application in ERPNext.
Based on Private Sector Kuwait Labor Law Article(76).The worker who spent two continuous years working for the same employer shall be entitled to 21 days leave with pay to perform Al-Hajj provided that he had not performed hajj before.
Leave Type refers to the types of leaves that an Employee can use while making Leave Applications.
An employee can select a particular Leave Type while requesting for a leave. You can create any number of Leave Types based on your company’s requirement.
To access Leave Type, go to:
Home > Human Resources > Leaves > Leave Type
If checked Is Hajj Leave in Leave Type, then the Employee can use this Leave Type for Hajj Leave Application. Is Hajj Leave check will not come along with Is Leave Without Pay.
Max Leaves Allowed: This field allows you to set the maximum number of leaves of this Leave Type that Employees can apply within a Leave Period. According to Private Sector Kuwait Labor Law we can set it to 21.
Applicable After (Working Days): Employees who have worked with the company for this number of days are only allowed to apply for this Leave Type. Any other leaves availed by the Employees after their joining date is also considered while calculating working days. According to Private Sector Kuwait Labor Law we can set it to number of working days in 2 years.
The applying employee requires to select their Employee record, Leave Type having Is Hajj Leave checked, the period for which the leave is taken and the Employee had not performed hajj before(Went to Hajj of Employee is False).

Human Resources > Leaves and Holiday > Leave Application > New Leave Application
