Tried to compile on CentOS

make config
../makefiles/common.mk:16: *** missing separator. Stop.

Versions Used:
CentOS Linux release 7.9.2009 (Core)

Make version:
GNU Make 3.82
Built for x86_64-redhat-linux-gnu

The OP2 build process requires gmake 4+ - can you try with that?
