Target User

The target user for our program is Spencer "Spike" Rodriguez. Spike's older brother, also named Spencer, is way better at Battleship than Spike is. After a couple rounds of being beaten by his older brother Spike has decided to play an online game Battleship against a computer, so he can gain some practice against an opponent that won't tease him.

Spike is 8-12 years old. Spike has access to a laptop computer but he doesn't want the program on his computer in case his brother finds it. Spike usually sticks to websites that look kid friendly. Spike uses a computer regularly and is familiar with technology.
