Remove a device and delete its object if it returns false from a callback #43

This would require changing the data storage technique so that devices could register themselves and provide an object (pointer and deleter), so we know what to call when they fail.

Yeah, I think to do this best would require an API break. So, should be lumped with other api breaks.
