Triggering Octopus runbooks with Jenkins

Would it be possible to trigger Octopus runbooks with this plugin?
I.e. like with the octo client. https://octopus.com/docs/octopus-rest-api/octopus-cli/run-runbook

This would greatly enhance the usability of the plugin since Octopus runbooks are really way to run scripts etc. in various environments

At the moment we don't have this feature available in the Jenkins plugin, and no timeframe on when it may be implemented.

As you have mentioned the Octopus CLI already supports this, we also have a new cli which supports running a runbook, but doesn't have the same installation requirements (.net dependencies) that the previous CLI had.
