The tab Exchange in https://hub.openeo.org/ let us add sample processes, which will be accessible in the Web Editor in the Process Graphs @ Hub. The idea is nice, but we can improve it to be more user friendly, since I also found out that the preloaded processes weren't working with all backends.

  1. Filter examples per backend: in my case I was using the Eurac backend, only the example for NDVI measurement of Bolzano should be visible, because it uses collection on Eurac backend.
Otherwise it can be misleading the user.

  2. How to update the current available processes? I would like to update the Eurac NDVI sample, since the available one doesn't work due to an old collection which is used.

I think that a good set of updated examples are a must to let more users use OpenEO.

Cheers,
Michele

This feature will be rewritten again, it's not yet 1.0 compatible and needs a substantial amount of work to work well. For now, this functionality was also removed from the Web Editor as it was - as you also mentioned - not checking all details of the process graph regarding compatibility and lead to confusion. It's likely that we disable the exchange part for some time and only make it available again after out limited time allows us to provide a better solution.
