Apps Startmenu #2056
Comments
I guess no one is having this problem. |
I don't quite get what is the problem from the description. |
I think I can reply on this. Will try. I do not understand what you said here. Where did I say about missing. Its simple I had Classic Shell for years. Everything was fine. I was able to click on Apps. They would then show up on Start Menu. About 2 weeks ago this stopped. Other Windows 10 drives I had did same thing. So I installed Open Shell. This does same thing. So I do not get my Apps showing on Start Menu. I FULLY DON’T KNOW HOW TO USE THIS. I THINK THIS IS BAD FOR SUPPORT. SO SCREEN SHOT I DON’T KNOW HOW TO DO. If you get this email I will send this Picture. In this picture you will see Google Chrome 131 below that Microsoft Office Word and below that is Outlook New. This is the area that when I open an App and run it I will see it show in this area. Now I have found this out. You see Google Chrome 131. I could not get this in Start Menu when I click on it usingShortcut on my desktop. I was able to do this before. The only way I was able to see this on my Start Menu is to run it going to Programs. Even going to Settings. If I click on Settings like I usual do I would see Settings in Start Menu. Now I do not. It seems the only way I can get this to view is to run Settings using Search. So Its like how I click on things now stops showing me Apps on Startmenu. THANKS HOPE YOU GET THIS.

So the issue was in original Windows start menu and it is still there when you installed In such case I'm afraid the problem is in your Windows installation. You will need to repair it somehow (factory reset? reinstall?). |

So the issue was in original Windows start menu and it is still there when
you installed Open-Shell?
In such case I'm afraid the problem is in your Windows installation. You
will need to repair it somehow (factory reset? reinstall?).

It's too bad we can't see your picture. I'm going to take a wild guess. If this is what you want, great. If it's not what you want, sorry. |
I want it like it was for years. If you get picture now you will see Google Chrome 131. I cannot now click on Short cut I have of this on desktop. I have to go to Programs to click on it. Then and only then I will see on Start Menu. There is lots that does this. Like Setting. You will see in pictures. You click PC Settings I do not see on Start Menu.If I go to Search and enter Settings I can click on it and will see it on Start Menu. I do not want any Short Cut. I have check Settings went to Start and changed settings. This does not fix this. I JUST LIKE IT HOW IT WAS BEFORE LIKE NOW ABOUT 3 WEEKS AGO.

Hello If you try again uploading your screenshot, Don't use email. It might restrict pictures from showing. Log on to Open shell: Please make sure that your screenshot picture file is on your desktop. Now press and hold your left mouse button on your picture file on your desktop, If done correctly, a copy of your screenshot picture will now be in the comment. If it didn't work, try copying and pasting your picture file. Good luck. |
I don’t know why you don’t know where the Start Menu is that shows Recently Ran Apps. I put a circle in the area. So it is this area that I would see Apps that I have ran. I am not now. Yes unless I click it other ways.
