Hi,

Does this project need someone to go through and populate the csv? I'm quite happy to throw a few hours at it.

While we appreciate the offer, I'm not completely sure what you are offering. We don't need the database populated with every game out there, only those that require Protonfixes.

Nevermind :)

I'm intending on working on something soon'ish where I need a connection between games offered by various stores so it's easier to see your full collection in one place. Which would essentially mean that I'd be trying to populate EVERYTHING. But I don't want try and add a bunch of data here if that's not its intention (the reason for asking first) because that would just be annoying.

You're welcome to help with the Lutris API which has most of the work done already and has support for Steam, GOG and IGDB at the moment with plans for more in the future.

For a lot of stores that don't have an API, data collection would go from the user's Lutris client to the website (after opting in library sync)

Thank you so much! :D I was kind of foundering around trying to find usable game api's. I found launchbox has some usable data (that would be much more usable once thrown into a sqlite db. Very useful for emulated stuff at least) but was struggling to find store specific info.

For emulated games, on the Lutris database we also have support for MAME games (but just the arcade machines, not MAME's software lists) and we also have imports of TOSEC, NoIntro and Redump but they aren't used as game providers yet.
