Possibly suggest the housing be printed out of TPU and remove the cutout for the button OR improve the button cutout. #154

V1 iteration request
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Just found that printing this with PLA I have no idea how the button is actually pressable, this could very much be fixed if the top were printed out of TPU or the button cutout is a touch longer.

Describe the solution you'd like
I would prefer printing instructions because I just kind of winged it with some higher quality blue stuff I have laying around but it felt like I shouldn't be able to actuate any buttons with the top.

Interesting. Yeah the button is not ideal, it broke off when I used my resin printer with low quality resin. The design of the button should certainly be improved. After seeing what the community has built, it seems that the model in general needs some work. More space inside to fit components, easier to print threads, and a resilient button. Do you have any ideas on a better button @Leopere ?

Honestly, if I had my preference, I would look at it like a game controller. You would print a cylinder with an index notch so it doesn't rotate, slide out, or orient itself incorrectly. There could even be an embossed OI or something on the button for a signature piece. The momentary switch should provide enough pushback if you get the tolerances right. The elegance of having a two-component print-and-go setup is charming, but you could get a much nicer thumb button with a separate component.
