Dear colleagues. I am working on aerostructural optimization using Adflow-Tacs-meld. Please tell me how I can set the additional aerodynamic load that occurs during the 2.5g and -1g maneuver cases. I understand how we set the inertial loads for mass in these cases, but I do not understand how to multiply the aerodynamic load by 2.5g. |

You shouldn't need to multiply aerodynamic loads by the load factor, only inertial loads. The additional aerodynamic loads required for the maneuver have to come from trimming the aerodynamic variables (AoA, Mach, altitude, etc.) to balance the lift and the weight of your aircraft multiplied by the load factor |
