Good morning everyone,
Its so good to see that we've launched and are officially a recognized group at GitHub - we just got 5 sign ups for our November orientation on the 17th that @mahrsbar and @wallace will lead!

Project Architecture

• @BeeXiong could you add feedback on this discussion around the state of the local vs production db?
• It'll add clarity as we're looking into codespace implementation @JamesMGreene

Backend

• Lob needs address formatted (Handle differentiated deployments for frontend vs. backend #72) @BeeXiong

Frontend:

• memex view of issues @myles
• Project Specifications are being added to the wiki @manishapriya94
• This file needs to be refactored for auth0 @mahrsbar @hamdaankhalid (if you have the bandwidth)

@teakopp will also be leading a test driven development session on 11/10 from 4-4:45 pt for those who might like the tutorial (tagging @avamariee @SimonLandis @DinnerMonster @ankitagrawal98 @hamdaankhalid for visibility)

We will also have details for the MVP+ Sunrise event which will inform our final hackathon outline for January - please comment here if you'd like to be part of the hackathon planning

Hi everyone,

Excited to announce that our hackathon date is set for January 17th in partnership with RedHat, Microsoft, and our social impact team! Discussion is here. We also welcomed @AAugustine @gdomingu - excited to see you all at the next pair hour on Dec 7th!

Some changes we're discussing and would love your feedback on:

Architecture: @JamesMGreene

• migrating frontend @mahrsbar
• codespaces (we're going to go ahead and delete local db) then figure out timeline for ORM @JamesMGreene did you want to take lead on creating this issue/discussion?
• set up staging and production environment in heroku @manishapriya94 @ankitagrawal98

Backend/QA

• address verification using existing address verification endpoints @teakopp
• tests become written in typescript @teakopp @DinnerMonster
• puts, gets, and delete to the database @BeeXiong
• Lob routed to post after checking stripe @nawazkhan

Frontend/Design
