Use metric and 24 hours format setting is not saved #194
Comments
Hello @guyliorha, Thanks for taking the time to create this issue! I tried to reproduce this issue but was unsuccessful. I tried using both the v2.4.49 demo web app as well as v2.4.43 on my android device. In both instances, opening the waffle menu, selecting options, then toggling the use metric and 24hr format settings, the dashboard instantly changes between Celsius and Fahrenheit for temperature display. Can you please watch the video below and confirm if we're following the same steps? Worth mentioning - please be sure you're clicking the "Submit" in the top right of the screen to save the settings changes! There may be a bug with 24hr time format setting on the dashboard time display. 🎥 Attempt to repro2025-03-11.09-46-34.mp4 |
I just took a look at the dateToString function used for the dashboard current time display and confirmed there is a bug where the app doesn't respect the 24hr setting. The program setting screen does properly apply the setting. |
In the app does not save the new settings |
I have the same probelm also when using the cloud connection. |
HI,
System settings "Use Matric" and "Use 24 Hour Time" are not saved and always returns to the default value.
App Version: 2.4.43
Firmware: 2.2.1
Hardware Version: 3.2 - AC
Device type: Android
Steps to reproduce the issue: Enable "Use Matric" and "Use 24 Hour Time", close and reopen the app. The temperature will show in Fahrenheit.
