The Problem

Right now, the project is too U.S.-centric. For instance, there's no support for how India does not observe holidays at work at all if the holiday falls upon a weekend. And there's no support for, for instance, the fundamentalist Muslim workweek of Saturday through Wednesday, nor the Jewish workweek of Sunday through Thursday.

Non-standard Workweeks

  • Israel: Sunday through Thursday.
  • Muslim Nations: Sunday through Thursday.
  • Colombia and India: Monday through Saturday.
  • Brunei: Monday through Thursday, plus Saturday.
