What do you guys want the functionality to do? Pull from the top posts each day? How should we decide what and when to post stuff from the subreddit?

You've got it backwards. Take a look at that link, the guy was asking for a bot that could keep the georgia state subreddit up to date with news on stuff that matters from the University since GSU is growing so much. We could also incorporate that into the slack too by posting to a dedicated news channel. I've seen that very often in other slack teams
