What are you trying to do and how would you want to do it differently?

I would like to have nodes which are excluded, if to many bonds are broken.

Is it something you currently cannot do? Is this related to an issue/problem?

If too many bonds are broken it leads to problems by the inversion of some matrices, because they become singular.

Implementation details

If inversions fail, the points can be included in the flyawaylist.

Would you be willing to submit a PR?

Yes
