Hi everyone,

We are hosting this space as the forum for adding suggestions and feedback on the checklist for minimum criteria for related presentation and contribution discussed in community letter V0.1. Please feel free to write your opinions and comments here.

It may be better to label the entries in the checklist as necessary and optional (better to have).
For example, alternative hypotheses may not be necessary when it comes to the failure of a well-established method in a specific kind of system or problem.

I just wanted to bring the discussion we had in the trainee discord server here:

Instead of otherwise-unpublished data, under-appreciated data might fit all categories in the definition listed in the letter. Plus, we can also bring trainees who spent considerable time generating critical data but summarized it in 1 or 2 sentences in the published manuscript as there were other shiny results.
