Enabling BYG Nether & End Biomes in existing worlds

  1. Open your world's level.dat file and navigate to the nether/end's biome source ID(highlighted in blue)

  1. Double click the biome source ID to edit and change the values to BYG's Biome Source ID to the ID for your version:

Forge

End: byg:bygend

Nether: byg:bygnether

Fabric

End: byg:byg_end

Nether byg:byg_nether

  1. Create a new world.
  2. Teleport to the end and ensure that BYG's biomes generate.
  3. Open the world's level.dat(in the world's save directory) you want to spawn byg's end biomes.
  4. Delete the highlighted nbt data(or the one ending in nether if you want the nether) in the image below.

  1. Open the new world w/ BYG's end/nether biomes.
  2. Ctrl+C(copy) the nbt data highlighted in the image above from the new world(w/ byg's end/nether biomes) into the world that you want to have byg's end/nether biomes where the old end/nether nbt was.
