The CSS for an HTML build currently ignores attempts to left-align column headers.
The Chicago Manual of Style specifies that stub column (first, descriptive column) headers should always be left aligned and that headers for columns of textual data may need to be left aligned if centering them looks unbalanced.
To allow this the CSS left align class would need to affect <th> elements as well as <td>s.
