Although what could be partially blamed on my cheap fan or printer calibration, I have found the fan ducts to be a bit weak during assembly and crack if the fan fit isn't perfect. I have also found that my Kingroon fan blades (HB form factor using HB ducts) protrude further than the duct face
"Pulling" the face 0.5mm is enough to fit 4 complete walls, instead of 2 walls + gapfill and means the fan blade now sits closer to flush and is protected during potential sensorless homing. 0.5mm pull means the geometry is unchanged (atleast using the HB ducts) and the styling is therefore unaffected. This added thickness allowed me to assemble the ducts without cracking and with alot more confidence.
