/mod-broadcast -o Please notice that where is an event at ***, please notify the administrator if you have time.

Just an example.

I'm not opposed to being able to leave messages for staff members. The only problem is that there is currently no way to know who is a staff member and who isn't when they are offline.

I'm afraid some back-end changes would be necessary to accommodate for a feature like this.

Maybe you could make a file including the messages who should be sent to offline staff members and the members who already sawn the message. If you look at player login and if the player is a staff member looking in that file if he sawn this message. Maybe u can create a specific id to easily specify messages for deleting or editing these or adding a start-date and a end-date or an option that the message is shown each login. Maybe also a possibility removing a specific member from the sawn-list.

That would require a way to store the messages and who has received them. It would still require database changes.

You are right, but now it's much smaller, because you don't have to save and update a staff member list.. Maybe you could do this step-by-step. But if it's too much work at all, you don't have to do this. I don't want to force you.
