this is a collection of all the course content for the MiCM workshop, Data Visualization in R, Fall 2022. R and RStudio should be installed on workshop participants' computers before the workshop begins. Basic experience coding in R is required for this workshop. The workshop will be divided in 2 overarching parts: 1) data presentation, in which participants will learn how to generate basic and specialized plots, then progress to learning how to customize plots and plot aesthetics, as well as how to incorporate the principles of optimization of data visualization, and 2) data exploration, in which participants will learn how to use data visualization to explore their data further.
