Configuration

On first launch of Exile Diary, the configuration window will be displayed.

1. Enter your PoE account name and your POESESSID.

2. Click on the box in the next section to load your list of characters, and select one from the list.
   

3. Select the location of your Client.txt log file (should be in the /logs subdirectory of the PoE game directory).

4. Select the directory where PoE screenshots are saved (usually Documents/My Games/Path of Exile/Screenshots).
   

5. After filling in everything, click Save.

6. If all goes well, the configuration window should reload with a new option to upload an item filter for your active character. Click on the box to select one from your item filter directory (usually Documents/My Games/Path of Exile), and then click Save again.
