mod causes constant lag spikes

idk what causes it but yeah. the mod is laggy as fuck, even though it's the only mod active.
Anyways, the mod is really cool and I'd like to play it, however the constant lag spikes and the mod bring so large that it can even crash the game makes it quite hard to play.
