Hello, I am writing this here because I have found no other way to contact you. I assume you are the person behind the Team036 mods on Thunderstore (this one in particular: https://thunderstore.io/c/northstar/p/Team036/AutouseHarvesterShield/). If that is you, and if you see this message, please contact the Northstar modding community on discord (an invite link can be found on https://northstar.tf/, you can ping me @Khalmee in the modding chat or any other text channel) or through other means. If you did not make these mods, but know the person that did, please let them know about this message.
The reason why I'm writing this message is because recently tickets began appearing regarding these mods. The cause of the issues described in the tickets seem to be the lack of dependencies or mod collision. Users are having trouble getting the mods to work and the ticket staff could not find a suitable instruction for installation which could fix all the problems. Examples of the problems:
[2024-09-01] [06:59:15] [SCRIPT SV] [error] COMPILE ERROR Undefined variable "GetLocalClientPlayer" [2024-09-01] [06:59:15] [SCRIPT SV] [error] sh_damage_history.gnut line [178] column [38] error (This should NOT happen since this is a clientside function in a serverside script, and no properly tested mod contains that)
According to the users, all dependencies listed on the thunderstore page were installed.
Please contact us so that we can resolve these issues, or please include more details in the mod description on thunderstore. One of the Northstar contributors offered to rewrite the mods to make them compatible with other Northstar mods, if you'd like to collaborate, let us know.
Best Regards,
Khalmee
